5 The Rat's stars in love: 桃花, 紅鸞, 天喜
Besides branches there are the so-called stars (神煞, shén shà), auxiliary markers. For the Rat (the 申子辰 group) they are counted like this:

Do not rush to conclusions from a single row. The main hidden stem of 未, 己, adds a second layer: for 甲 it is Direct Wealth, for 丙 Hurting Officer, for 庚 Direct Resource, for 壬 Direct Officer. The practical sense of the table is simple. If your Day Master is 庚 or 辛 (for women, 丁 is then Direct Officer or Seven Killings), or 壬 or 癸 (for men, 丁 is a wealth star), the partner theme moves to the front in 2027: the year feels more "about relationships" than about the rest. 7 What to do: five practical steps
