Pigs have a special relationship with money. On one side they love comfort, eat well, live nicely and seldom deny themselves without need. On the other they are generous: with gifts, with help, with "no, let me pay". In good years this turns into an open house where guests are always welcome. In hard years it turns into a pocket from which money leaves faster than it arrives, and mostly for other people.
In 2027, called 丁未 (dīng wèi), the year branch 未 (the Goat) forms with the Pig 亥 half of the Three Harmony 亥卯未, a union of Wood (三合, sān hé). For finances the news cuts both ways. First, the union favours joint undertakings: agreeing is easier, partners turn up, teams come together. Second, a union is in itself a redistribution: the Pig's Water flows in it into Wood, that is, it feeds a growth that is not always its own.

The classical trio 亥卯未 consists of the Pig (亥), the Rabbit (卯) and the Goat (未). It forms Wood: the Pig gives the beginning, the Rabbit the flowering, the Goat the completion. In 2027 you have two of the three links: your own branch and the Goat of the year. Without the Rabbit this is a 半合 (bàn hé), a "half combination", weaker than a full one: the pull is there, the chain is not closed. For the Metal Day Masters (庚 and 辛) the Wood union turns out to be the most direct: for them Wood is wealth. Most often 2027 touches the month pillar: it answers for earnings. If the Pig stands there, the year favours collective formats: projects with several participants, partner programmes, teamwork. If you had to choose one month for formalising joint agreements, it would be March. That is when the trio forms, and the background for partnerships and shared affairs is at its most favourable. April and September also work well. Take more care in February (agreements are made quickly but do not always hold), in May (the clash brings unexpected expenses and reshuffles), in August (money disputes with those close to you) and in November (overspending out of generosity).
A little more on several months. February (壬寅) brings a harmony and a destruction at once between the Tiger and the Pig. A typical situation for finances: you are offered terms that look advantageous at first sight, you agree quickly, and then it turns out that some points were not discussed. The rule is simple: wait a day or two and reread. May (乙巳) gives a clash, that is, movement of capital: sudden expenses, trips and changes of plan are possible. For those who work on the road or with clients in other cities it is a month of good activity; for the rest it is a reason to keep a small reserve. November (辛亥) is the month of self-punishment: the Pig meets the Pig, and there is a tendency to spend on others more than planned and to reproach yourself either for not being generous enough or, the other way round, for needless spending.

A forecast built on one branch always becomes more accurate if you know what else stands next to it in the chart. For the Pig's money, four things are worth checking.
The Rabbit 卯. It closes the trio. If the Rabbit is in the chart, the financial theme of shared affairs and joint investments is more pronounced for you than for most Pigs. If it stands in the month pillar, it concerns earning through a team or collective; if in the day pillar, the family budget; if in the hour pillar, long-term savings and affairs with children.
The Tiger 寅. It is tied to the Pig by a harmony and a destruction at once. In finances such a pair is recognised by quick agreements with a crack in them: it is easy for you to agree, but later you have to come back to the details. If your chart holds a Tiger, be especially attentive in February and with any agreement containing too many "we'll clarify later".

6 Four phases of the financial year
So as not to keep twelve months in your head, you can divide the year into four phases and choose a different type of task in each.
February to April: agree. This is the time of the union. Acquaintances are made, offers arise, teams come together. Here you set the terms: shares, deadlines, duties. Whatever you secure in these three months will work for you until the end of the year. If you need to formalise a partnership or buy into a business, do it now, not in July.
May to July: move and check. May brings the clash and unpredictable spending, June activates contacts through 午未合, July draws the first conclusion. In this phase it is useful to compare each participant's actual contribution with the agreements and to watch whether your personal resource is being spent on the common cause faster than you planned.
August to October: put in order. Disputes are possible in August; in September and October the background is more even. It is a good time for bookkeeping, reporting, a review of tariffs, and preparing tax matters. If a dispute arose in August, it is better not to argue on emotion but to come back to it in September.
November to January: guard your boundaries. The month 辛亥 brings self-punishment, and it is in this month that it is easiest to overspend on others. December and January suit results and planning next year's budget. It is not the time for large commitments, but a good time to answer yourself honestly: did your generosity pay off?

For Day Masters 壬 and 癸 two readings are laid over each other: the stem 丁 brings them wealth directly, while the Pig's union with the Goat strengthens Wood, which for Water is output and skill, that is, a source of income through abilities. It is one of the most "money-rich" configurations of the year, but it too speaks of a background, not a guarantee. 8 Typical scenarios: what it looks like in practice
A joint project or partnership. The classic scenario of the year. You and someone else decide to launch a venture, and everything goes unusually smoothly: it is easy to agree and roles are assigned without argument. That is exactly why it is easy to forget the main thing: who gets what share, what happens if someone wants out, how start-up costs are divided. These questions are best fixed in a contract in the very first month, while the cooperation is warm.
Salaried work in a team. Team bonuses and shared KPIs work in your favour in 2027, but personal recognition may get blurred. If you want your contribution to be visible, document it: a short report, a written summary of the project, a note in the system. Pigs are often shy about doing this, and wrongly so.
Family money. For Pigs 亥 this is the main zone of generosity: help for parents, children, friends. In a year of union there are more requests, and more wish to help. A simple rule is useful here: decide in advance on a monthly sum "for help" and do not go beyond it without discussing it with your partner.

9 How to act: five steps for a year of union
- Define your share in advance. In any joint venture write down what you put in (money, time, connections) and what you get. In writing, while everyone is happy.
- Use March. The month 癸卯 closes the trio and gives the best background for contracts, partnerships and joint decisions.
- Set a "generosity limit". Decide a monthly sum for help and gifts. The rest counts as your personal reserve.
- Do not hurry in February and May. In February the terms look better than they are; in May sudden expenses occur.
- Check your chart. Is there a Rabbit 卯, which element Wood is for you, what the luck pillar says: on this depends how accurately the above fits you.
10 Typical mistakes of the Pig in a financial year of union
Agreeing by word of mouth. In a year when everything falls into place smoothly, a written contract seems superfluous. But it is exactly verbal agreements that most often end in misunderstandings.
Underrating your contribution. Modesty is a lovely quality, but when shared income is divided it costs dearly. Name the figure and the terms while it is still received neutrally.
Confusing generosity with obligation. Helping those close to you is good as long as it is voluntary. When it becomes an expectation, it turns into a burden for both sides.
Counting on easy money. A soft year easily creates the illusion that it will all arrange itself. The union creates conditions but does not do the work for you.
