Terms of Service

Version of 13 September 2026 · Contact

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of the website en.bazi.cards, the Telegram bot @Bazinterbot and the digital services offered through them (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, ordering a reading or using the Oracle you accept these Terms. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, the Refunds & Withdrawal page and the Disclaimer.

1. Parties

The Service is provided by the operator of BaZi.cards (the “Operator”, “we”):

BaZi.cards · operator details: see contact

E-mail: support@bazi.cards · Telegram bot: @Bazinterbot

The “User” (“you”) is any natural person who uses the Service. The Service is offered to consumers; if you use it in the course of a business, additional statutory consumer protections may not apply.

2. What the Service is

BaZi.cards is a digital service that calculates a person's chart in the traditional Chinese system of the Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi, Zi Ping school) from the date, time and place of birth and produces written interpretations of it. The Service includes:

All content is produced automatically by software, on the basis of a fixed knowledge base of the traditional system, without a human interpreter participating in the individual reading. The Service is an interpretive and educational product; it is not a consultation with a specialist.

3. The Oracle

The Oracle is an automated software tool. Its answers are generated by a program from your chart and the text of your question; no person reads your question or writes the answer. The answers reflect the interpretive tradition of BaZi and may be incomplete, generic or inapplicable to your situation. You use them at your own discretion and remain solely responsible for any decisions you take. The Oracle may be limited in the number of questions per day, may decline questions that fall outside its scope (in particular questions requiring medical, legal or financial advice) and may be temporarily unavailable.

4. Account and eligibility

5. Orders, prices and delivery

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because a reading is digital content that is delivered immediately, we ask you before payment to expressly agree that delivery begins at once and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding UK rules). Details, the exceptions that always apply and the withdrawal form are set out on the Refunds & Withdrawal page.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Readings and Oracle answers are interpretations within a traditional symbolic system. They are offered for reflection, self-knowledge and entertainment. We do not guarantee that any event described will or will not occur, that the interpretation is accurate for you, or that following it will produce any result. The Service is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice and does not replace consultation with a qualified professional. See the Disclaimer.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, after notice where reasonably possible.

9. Intellectual property

The software, knowledge base, texts, design and the way interpretations are structured are protected by copyright and belong to the Operator or its licensors. Readings generated for you are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use: you may read, download, print and share them privately, but not publish or resell them as a product. The names of the traditional system and its concepts are not claimed as our property.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory consumer protection law. In all other cases our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected reading in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or decisions you take on the basis of an interpretation. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law applicable to you.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance, updates and events beyond our control may cause interruptions. We may improve, change or discontinue features; purchased readings remain available in your account for at least 12 months after purchase and can be downloaded.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate the contract with 30 days' notice by e-mail, or immediately in case of a material breach of these Terms. On termination, sections 7, 9, 10 and 13 remain in force.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of the service is established (the operator's registered details will be published in this document once finalised). If you are a consumer, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country. We prefer to solve disagreements directly: write to support@bazi.cards and we will answer within 5 business days. We are not obliged and do not undertake to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms for good reason — for example, when the law, the payment provider or the Service changes. Registered users are informed by e-mail at least 14 days before a material change takes effect; if you do not agree, you may terminate the contract before that date. The current version is always published here with its date.
